Chef Doug brings 20 years of culinary experience as an Executive Chef and as a restaurant owner and culinary instructor. During his most recent position at The Club at Strawberry Creek, located in Kenosha, he oversaw three culinary outlets managing all aspects of day-to-day culinary operations.

Previously Doug also owned and operated his own restaurant, has held positions throughout Wisconsin in various fine dining establishments such as Bartolotta’s Lake Park Bistro, as well as casual dining restaurants to include Champs Sports Bar & Grill in Lake Geneva.

Doug oversees the kitchen for 1903 Events and MOTOR Bar & Restaurant. He leads menu development and menu operations, developing monthly and seasonal specials. Signature items on the 1903 menu include cocktail meatballs with our house-made BBQ sauce, fried ravioli, seasonal menu including items such as seared scallops, veal loin chops, and more!

Dave Larson, Director of Sales

Director of Sales

Dave has over 20 years working in event production and management. His career has led him to work on many significant and high-profile events, including Super Bowl XXXIX and the 2020 Democratic National Convention, among many others.

Dave began his career as a crew member at a rental company where he was promoted to manage the exposition division. Later, as the Director of Convention Services at VISIT Milwaukee for over 11 years, he built a successful reputation as a leader who serviced over 250+ events annually. He was selected to lead the planning and execution of the 2020 Democratic National Convention, a significant feat of both planning and execution.

With a passion for planning and organizing large-scale events, he brings a unique perspective to 1903 Events and the Harley-Davidson Museum.

Jordan Mendez, Senior Sales Manager

Senior Sales Manager

Jordan has over 20 years of experience working in business development and events in the Milwaukee market. Over a 15-year period at Milwaukee River Cruise Line and Pier 106 Seafood Tavern, she worked as a Special Events Coordinator and Director of Business Operations.

Jordan has a passion for creating memorable events for guests and takes pride in delivering superior customer service. Her creativity and desire to make every event unique is a major asset to the 1903 Events team.

Rohan Behari, Client Experience Manager

Rohan Behari

Client Experience Manager

Rohan began his career in hotel hospitality managing hotels and planning small corporate events, eventually working his way up to larger events like tradeshows and conferences. In his role as Client Experience Manager, Rohan works on making sure that the client’s vision comes to life. He loves working at 1903 Events because of the excitement of our guests and that they get to experience the world’s only Harley-Davidson Museum.

Client Experience Manager

Neal has been in his role at 1903 Events since July of 2022. This is his second time working at the Harley-Davidson Museum having previously worked here from 2012-2016 in a variety of banquet event roles. Neal has been in and out of the hospitality business since he was 15 years old, first starting out as a Pizza Cook at a family owned and operated restaurant. In college, he worked in event management and since then has worked in either facilities, event management, or hospitality management at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, the Harley-Davidson Museum, Marquette University, and the Wisconsin Center District.

Brooke Steinbach, Banquet Manager

Brooke’s background in hospitality runs deep as her family owned and operated a restaurant while she was in grade school. She started serving while in school and later became a banquet manager at private clubs. She has experience managing a wide variety of banquets from six-course plated banquets to golf outings, galas, fundraisers, weddings, and more. She enjoys working for Levy Restaurants operating 1903 Events because of the collective wealth of knowledge everyone brings to the team.

Kaitlyn started in the hospitality industry 7 years ago in college. She has a passion for the fast-paced nature of events and enjoys working with each department to ensure every client is happy. Kaitlyn brings a strong work ethic to the team and is always looking forward to the next challenge.
